Rousseau Design is proud to have Clyde Rousseau as its Principle Designer.  He is part of a prominent Arizona pioneer family that has called Arizona their home for generations. This deep personal association with our regional history and architecture gives Clyde a unique connection with the Phoenix metropolitan area. His professional qualifications include working in New York City for several architectural firms, a Master of Architecture degree from MIT awarded in 1990, studies at the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and a semester in Rome with the Pratt School of Architecture. However, it is his exceptional ability to blend a lasting palette of materials, superb organization of space, celebration of vernacular details and commitment to outstanding craftsmanship that have set him apart and have become the signature hallmarks of his work.  Clyde is passionate about bringing the most creative and highest quality homes to the Valley, while celebrating the heritage and building traditions that define the very special urban fabric in the central city core. Rousseau Design projects are located in some of the most prestigious and historic neighborhoods of Phoenix and many have been featured in publications. From locations as diverse as Camelback Mountain to Phoenix Country Club, Rousseau Design's work always displays a superb sensitivity to location and regional appropriateness not often found. Rousseau Design welcomes this opportunity to introduce you to this uniquely expressive talent.
